Post Holiday Recycling
The Innova team wants to start this blog off by wishing you and your families a Happy Holiday season. Regardless of your religious or cultural background, there is something special about this time of year that brings us all together.
In today's world, we as a society, have become dependent on electronics to keep us connected to our friends and families. Whether it is sharing pictures on Facebook or Instagram, video chatting through face time or Skype, or simply sending emails, electronics have become such an important part of our everyday lives, that without them, we would be lost. Therefore, it is only natural that we constantly seek the latest gadgets to keep us connected.
Kwanzaa, Christmas, Hanukkah, or one of the many other holidays celebrated around this time of year; they all have a few things in common; Families and friends traveling from all over the world to be together; and presents, lots and lots of presents. It would make sense that many of these presents are laptops, smartphones, computers, gaming systems, and other electronic devices commonly used to communicate with each other.
As you sit there opening your new gadgets, we would like you to think about donating or recycling your old ones. Instead of tossing your old phone or laptop into the bottom of your closet or the back of your "junk" drawer, we encourage you to bring those items in to be properly recycled. We understand that everyone's day to day lives can be quite hectic between school, work, and their families. So, Innova Recycling has decided to open its Recycling Center on Saturdays along with usual weekday hours.
